Katie's work is generally concerned with empty, previously occupied spaces, considering what once was, and what may come in the future. She presents subtle, quiet images, which are meditations on abandonment, transition and potential. As such, they are images of an uncertain and still time.

A graduate of Hereford College of Arts, Katie has won several awards for her work. Her handmade book of images from Talgarth Asylum travelled the country as part of an exhibition on Book Arts and she co-headed a two person exhibition as part of the renowned (and sadly, now defunct) Hereford Photography Festival in 2010. Her work also featured in a pop up exhibition in London's Hotshoe Gallery in September 2011.
